Quest USA taps into China's IPTV

NEWS BRIEF: Chinese IPTV company Jeboo is to distribute Quest USA Da Tiao Zhan (12x30'), the first Chinese reality show produced in the US, to the millions of IPTV viewers in China.

The programme, hosted by popular Asian entertainer David Wu (Wu Dawei), is a House Films series produced in Mandarin Chinese with English subtitles. It chronicles a cross-country race involving four teams of three people as they learn about cultural and social nuances along the way. The series has aired on several independent stations across the US.

Sarah Zhang, producer of the Quest series, said: "The rapid development of IPTV in China is very exciting. Jeboo is the premier IPTV company in China. We are very excited to be working with them to make our show available in China. We believe that IPTV is the future of television.
